I'm a graphic designer, maker, and dance educator who believes that design is most powerful when it serves people. With a deep passion for community spaces—libraries, museums, nonprofits, and cultural and recreation centers—I specialize in creating thoughtful, accessible visual communications that help organizations connect with the people they serve.
Whether I'm designing a brochure for a literacy program, signage for public wayfinding, or a clear and inclusive educational system for Irish dancers worldwide, my goal is always the same: to make meaningful work that informs, inspires, and uplifts communities.
Let's connect if you’re passionate about using design to make a difference.
Kyra and her daughter were so much fun to work with! Kyra filmed this online video/pick-up-kit combo program at home in short clips. I then edited her files together for a heartwarming, fun video tutorial.
Liz was nervous about getting into online programming, but she quickly became a pro. I worked with her to get her files in a format she was comfortable with recording, worked with her to decide the pacing, and produced a video she loved. Great job, Liz!
Supporting Irish dancers around the world with online Irish dancing competitions with an educational, coaching-based framework.
It's difficult to feel connected when your competitors are sending in video from home, instead of joining you at a competition. We celebrated each feis ("fesh") with a highlight reel for everyone to view on YouTube. Dancers could opt out if they wanted privacy.
To keep everyone on an equal footing and prevent confusion, we had a standard for displaying a dancer's number and announcing their competition dance. And sometimes, we got silly little bloopers!
There's nothing like getting actual feedback and working within an educational framework that just makes sense. Here's how it worked.
With "open platform" and independent dancers able to compete in many different organizations' competitions, keeping track of advancements can be tough. Digital Feis did it for you.
